Congratulatory Letter, Gerald M. Birnberg, Texas Bar Foundation
Dear Mr. Birnberg:
Congratulations on your election to the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. You join generations of distinguished Texas attorneys who, like you, have earned the honor of being a Fellow.
The only way to continue the success of the Foundation is to follow the precedent set by our founders and to commit ourselves to an active involvement. The Chair of the Fellows this year is Otway B. Denny Jr. The Vice Chair is Martha S. Dickie, Secretary is Andrew L. Kerr, and Immediate Past Chair is Robert A. Allen. They, and I, ask that you participate in building our Foundation by staying alert for outstanding attorneys you might encounter. When you discover these people, share the virtues of our Foundation and then contact me, one of the officers, or your district nominating chair. You may have found a lawyer who will make a terrific new Fellow.
Once you have completed your financial commitment, you will become a Life Fellow. That is, you will continue to hold the title of a Life Fellow in good standing without any additional efforts on your part. Naturally, I hope that you, like so many Life Fellows, will continue to make gifts to the Foundation. Rest assured, I will be asking you to continue your support!
To commemorate your achieving Fellow status, we are enclosing your certificate. Please look it over, and let us know if there are any errors or changes that should be made.
I hope you will honor the Foundation by displaying your certificate in your office or home. You are the most powerful ambassador the Foundation has. When you demonstrate your association with the Foundation to people who know and respect you, you will make us stronger.
Once more, congratulations on joining the Fellows. Please call whenever I can be of assistance to you.
Sincerely,
Anne R. Yeakel, Executive Director, Texas State Bar Foundation
