Proclamation, City of Houston, After Hours Network Day, Jon E. King
Founded by Houston attorney Jon Eliot King in March of 1989, The After Hours Network (TAHN) provides opportunities for Houston’s professional and business communities to meet and network “… with those leaders … instrumental in providing a strong foundation for Houston’s future.” Striving to “give something back” to the community by providing a quality environment for professionals to meet one another, TAHN generates excellent opportunities to expand business contacts and social affiliations.

Commemorating a decade-long tradition as an effective networking forum for some of Houston’s finest business and professional people, The After Hours Network will observe this milestone with a special tenth anniversary celebration on March 2, 1999.

The City of Houston is pleased to congratulate and commend Jon Eliot King and The After Hours Network on this auspicious occasion, and extends best wishes to all for many more years of continued success.

Therefore, I, Lee P. Brown, Mayor of the City of Houston, hereby proclaim Tuesday, March 2, 1999, as The After Hours Network Day in Houston, Texas.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and have caused the Official Seal of the City of Houston to be affixed this 11th day of February, 1999, A.D. Lee P. Brown, Mayor of the City of Houston.
